My Story
I moved to Texas with a backpack and a fresh start. What happened next is the whole story.
Where It Started
I grew up as an identical twin in Wisconsin, which means I spent most of my childhood being compared to someone who looked exactly like me. That does a few things to a person. It made me competitive. It made me independent. And it made me very good at figuring out who I actually am when nobody is telling me.
I moved around a lot growing up -- Wisconsin, California, Illinois, back to Wisconsin. I went to the University of Wisconsin, studied finance, and spent my college years bartending, making friendships that still matter today, and yes, taking a few months off to tour with Aerosmith. Not a typo.
After college I hit a wall. I moved to Dallas with the clothes on my back and a backpack. No money. Bad credit. Going through a divorce and managing a coffee shop to pay for diapers. That chapter was hard. But Texas had my mom, and Texas had a fresh start, and I took it.
The Career Behind the Career
I ended up at a property management company, then landed in real estate technology where I spent the next 15 years. I started in account management, moved into leadership, then spent years as a product manager -- translating what clients needed into tools that actually worked.
I learned data, systems, development cycles, and how to communicate complex things to people who just need a clear answer. I became very good at reading what people actually need versus what they say they want. Those skills did not leave when I got my real estate license.
I got licensed while pregnant with my third son because I knew corporate was not the finish line. It was the foundation.
How I Work
01
My role is not to sell you something. It is to understand what you actually need and help you get there. Every conversation starts with listening, not pitching.
02
If a house is not right for you I will tell you. If the price is off I will tell you. If the timing is wrong I will tell you. You deserve real answers, not comfortable ones.
03
From contract to close I am watching every detail, every deadline, every dollar. Your equity and your peace of mind are my responsibility and I take that seriously.
Life in Celina
Today I live in Light Farms in Celina with my three boys. I chose this community intentionally -- the trails, the schools, the way neighbors actually know each other. I can tell you what the pool looks like in July and which coffee spot everyone ends up at on Saturday morning.
Outside of real estate I run The Try It Club, a monthly meetup for women in the area who want to explore new hobbies without pressure or commitment. Community is not a marketing strategy for me. It is just how I live.
When you work with me you get someone who actually lives here, loves it here, and wants the same thing for you.
Work With Me
Pick the conversation that fits where you are right now. No pressure. No commitment. Just a real talk about what you are trying to do.
